About the Sussex Search Volunteers

Sussex Search Volunteers is an umbrella group for all the various search volunteers who work together in support of the Sussex Police to search for vulnerable missing persons and save life

Sussex Search Volunteers have 125 search trained volunteers located in the West of the County who have been operating since 2000 as the West Downs Neighbourhood Watch Search Team. A further 115 volunteers located in North and Mid Sussex have recently been trained and now form the North Downs Team.

It was recently decided to develop a website portal for all of the voluntary serch teams.
